June 18 - June 22: American Legion's Midsummer Days North Branch celebrates it's 83rd Midsummer Days festival with a parade, carnival rides, street dances and the Midsummer Day's Queen's coronation.
June 19 and throughout the summer: Music and Movies in District del Sol begins this week. Local bands perform, and outdoor movies are shown every Thursday evening in St. Paul's District del Sol until the end of July. Free.
June 19, and Thursdays throughout the summer: Marketfest is a free family festival in downtown White Bear Lake. A car show, live music, wagon rides, arts and crafts, and more every Thursday evening.
June 19 - June 22: Dan Patch Days four days of family-friendly activities in Savage include wine tasting, music, fireworks, frisbee disc dog championships, and a parade.
June 20: The Nordic Tenors in Concert The Danish American Center presents an evening of classical music, with music from operas, musical and Scandinavian folk songs at the Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis.
June 20 - June 22: Back to the 50's Weekend Car Show More custom and classic cars than you can imagine fill the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
June 20 - June 21: The Twin Cities Jazz Festival kicks off in Mears Park in Downtown St. Paul. There's more Jazz next weekend in Minneapolis.
June 20 - June 22: The Star of the North Games open in St. Paul. The games are Minnesota's Olympic-style multi-sport event. More events take place one week later.
June 21: The annual Juneteenth festival is held in Theodore Wirth Park to celebrate the end of slavery in America. Three stages of live music, food, art, reading, and history villages, and a parade.
June 21: Midsommar Dag Swedish traditions are celebrated in Scandia on Midsummer's Day.
June 22: Svenskarnas Dag Swedish Heritage Day is celebrated in Minneapolis' Minnehaha Park. It's one of the biggest Swedish festivals in the USA.
