June 23: 80th Annual Northeast Minneapolis Parade show your love for Northeast on Tuesday evening. Community groups, local celebrities, musicians, artists and performers take to the streets in Minnesota's second longest running parade.

June 25 - June 28: Dan Patch Days four days of family-friendly activities in Savage include wine tasting, music, fireworks, skateboarding, frisbee disc dog championships, and a parade.

June 25 - June 29: Fridley '49er Days Festival The City of Fridley puts on the annual '49ers Days, with a carnival, parade, seniors activities, and children's activities. Last year's festival suffered low attendance due to bad weather so they really need your support this year to continue the free celebration.

June 27: City of Lakes Tri-Loppet The annual Loppet is an urban paddle, run and bike triathalon through Minneapolis' parks and lakes.

June 27: Minnetonka Summer Festival It's a Minnesotan thing to ice skate in the middle of summer. The family-friendly Minnetonka Summer Festival gives visitors the chance eat, drink, listen to live music, and don their skates.

June 27: Midsommar Dag Swedish Midsummer's Day traditions are celebrated at the Gammel Garden Museum in Scandia.

June 27 - June 28: Twin Cities GLBT Pride Celebration is the largest is the Midwest. The free festival, at Loring Park, has art, music, dance, picnics and more on Saturday and Sunday, and the famous and fabulous Pride Parade is on Sunday.

June 28: Svenskarnas Dag Swedish Heritage Day is celebrated in Minneapolis' Minnehaha Park. It's one of the biggest Swedish festivals in the USA.
