Anoka Halloween Celebrations

Anoka claims to be the Halloween Capital of the world. Pumpkin carving contests, parades, and lots of family-friendly fun in more than a week of festivities in this northeastern suburb.

Mall of America - Trick or Treat

MOA claims they have the world's largest trick-or-treat event.

Como Zoo - Zoo Boo

A family-friendly ticketed event at Como Zoo.

The Minnesota Zoo - HallZOOween

Family-friendly Halloween trick-or-treating, crafts and activities.

Grand Avenue Boo Bash

St. Paul's Grand Avenue holds a Halloween festival on a weekend just before Halloween. Festivities usually include free fall food samples, wagon rides, and trick-or-treating at participating businesses.

Minnesota Street Car Museum - Ghost Trolley

A long running tradition at both historic streetcar locations, Excelsior and Lake Harriet. The trolley rides are fun and not too scary.

Halloween at the Bell: Bell Museum of Natural History

The Bell Museum of Natural History has a post-Halloween party on November 1 2008. Guests can hear spine-tingling animal tales, take a spooky flashlight tour of the museum, and meet slimey and slithery animals. Pre-registration is required.

Emma Krumbee's Scarecrow Festival

Pumpkin picking, apple picking, scarecrow contest, wagon rides, and plenty of fall fun at this farm in Belle Plaine, about 45 minutes southwest of Minneapolis.

Minnetonka Orchards

Lots of fall fun at this family-run apple orchard. Hay rides, farm animals, corn maze, pick your own apples, and live entertainment on most fall weekends. For Halloween, there is family-friendly scary entertainment on selected dates.
